Alejandro Núñez Jiménez rejoined Prof. Volker Hoffmann’s Group of Sustainability and Technology (SusTec), at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH Zürich) for his doctoral studies in October 2016. Prior to that, he developed his Master Thesis at SusTec on the influence of system bottlenecks influence on collaboration in innovation ecosystems. In his current research, Alejandro focuses on the influence of technology characteristics on the effectiveness of policy instruments aimed at facilitating the adoption of sustainable technologies.
Alejandro holds a Master of Science degree in Energy Management and Sustainability at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland), graduated as first of its promotion. He holds as well a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM, Spain), graduated as first of the Energy Management and Use specialization promotion.
