Short biography

YU Ka-ho is currently conducting PhD research at King’s College London on China’s energy security in Eurasia. He is also a research associate at European Centre For Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS) and a visiting scholar at Center for International Energy Strategy Studies at Renmin University of China. He holds an MA in International Public Policy from University College London and a BA in International Relations & Philosophy from Keele University. Before he started his PhD at King’s, he gained professional experience in think tanks. He is a research fellow at Global Studies Institute in Hong Kong and the representative of Hong Kong International Relations Research Association. He is also an editor of The Global Studies Journal. Besides, he frequently provides international affairs related commentaries to media. His research interests include energy security, energy transition, internationals relations, global governance, China’s energy policy and rare earth politics
