René Bohnsack is assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam Business School, the Netherlands. His areas of research and teaching are in strategy and sustainability. His PhD thesis explores the role of car companies and governments in the evolution of low-emission vehicles. He has published in Journal of Product Innovation Management, Research Policy, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and presented papers at several international conferences. Prior to starting his PhD project, he worked as a strategic controller for the GEA Group. For his studies, René attended the MLitt Programme for International Business at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland (with distinction).
