The STRN and NEST PhD-Network jointly invite PhD students and junior researchers to a School on “Methodologies and Methods for Sustainability Transitions Research”.
Update: The next NEST/STRN Methodology School will be hosted by CIRCLE at Lund University. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the program will likely take place as a series of digital events between April-June, 2021. Check back regularly for updates!
The school provides an overview of different research methodologies and their implications for studying sustainability transitions. Next to a more general discussion on ontology and epistemology, we will showcase examples of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research, action research, as well as policy engagements and other impact activities. We will invite a range of internationally renowned transition scholars as lecturers and have a few people from policy and practice present. The school is primarily aimed at PhD students at the beginning of their studies.
The program is currently under development, but we would like you to mark your calendars and inform potentially interested parties. More information on application procedure, lecturers and activities will follow in due time.
